What movie would you recommend to someone who is new to Bollywood?

I usually recommend Jab We Me to Bollywood first-timers. It's distinctly Bollywood, but accessible to everyone at the same time. And it's so funny and heartwarming, who wouldn't love it!

What ones do you suggest?

its a bengali movie based on the theft of rabindra nath thakur's nobel medal from shantiniketan.

its a must watch for any movie lover. mithun chakrobarthy plays a gr8 role.

Hey Jai, 'Rabindra Nath Thakur' ? Surely you meant Rabindra Nath Tagore, didn't you? Or am I missing something. Love to see this movie though but they don't show Bengali movies around here usually. We get Malayalam,Tamil,Hindi and Hollywood movies. May be I get a dvd, thanks for bringing this movie to everybody's attention here.
